Piranhas of various versions and years are in the service of the armies of Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Romania, Sweden, Ireland, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Chile and many others. The most modern version, the Mowag Piranha V, is considered one of the best infantry fighting vehicles of today. The Danish army is now switching to Piranha V, sending its Piranha IIIC for storage and to Ukraine.
The MOWAG Piranha IIIC is a 2007 vehicle that can carry up to 11 people at 100 km / h, is armed with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun, can swim and has armor that can withstand even a rocket-propelled grenade shot or a mine explosion.
