The Czech Republic continues to prove that it remains a good friend of Ukraine. Right after 152-mm field gun, BMP-1 and Т-72М tanks this small country sends to Ukraine 20+ DANA 152-mm self-propelled artillery and 20+ RM-70 multiple rocket launchers. As we wrote in the description of ZUZANA 155-mm self-propelled artillery, DANA 152-mm self-propelled artillery is a Czechoslovak wheeled howitzer, which since 1981 was in service first with the Czechoslovak Republic and then with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Modern DANA M2 is an upgraded Excalibur Army in 2017 and has a high level of automation, increased off-road capability and accuracy of fire. Most likely, older DANA M-77s, stored in the warehouses of Czech gunsmiths, have arrived in Ukraine now. But it's also not bad.

Talking about RM-70, it’s the Czechoslovak version of BM-21 Grad. Due to the use of a larger chassis Tatra T813 8 × 8 the system can transport an additional 40 122 mm missiles for reloading. In addition to Soviet 9M22 and 9M28 missiles, the RM-70 can use its own missiles. The Czech Republic does not use its RM-70s, which are in storage, but Slovakia has upgraded the MLRS to the RM-70/85M version with increased range and a new navigation system.
